Answer: You need to know how to single. And not only that, you need to be content with the fact that you are. Be happy with yourself, and by yourself. If you rely on one person for happiness then soon enough you’ll discover that when they leave, so will your joy. If you need someone else to be happy, then you shouldn’t be in a relationship.

After fighting to keep a one-sided relationship steady, people tend to give up. It’s like “putting them on hold for hours and expecting them to stay on the line waiting for you” to finish your conversation with whomever. It doesn’t work that way. They’re going to get fed up. They’re going to hang up.
Pain has its ways of reincarnating back into your life. Just when you think you’re done hurting over one thing, you begin to hurt over another. As if that alone isn’t bad enough, you still have to find a way to be happy.
